Volunteers

Volunteers are an integral part of our service.

Volunteers can become involved in any area of the service. Applications are always gratefully received.

Volunteers work 3 hour shifts once a week and training and support is on-going. We encourage our volunteers to remain with the Advice Centre during their time at University. We aim that during their 2^nd and 3^rd years, that volunteers can specialise in an area of advice if they wish to.

We recruit in November each year and training takes place in January.

Although most of our volunteers give advice, if you would like to volunteer for the Advice Centre but do not wish to undertake an advice giving role, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are looking to develop our technology, web information, campaigns and the Advice Centre as a whole and would like to hear from anybody who has an interest in these areas.
