Welcome to Decision Term 2011!

This term you'll be asked to decide on the future of your SU by voting in two elections, the Sabb Elections and the General Election. These elections will decide which students are chosen to lead your SU in the year ahead and make student life at Essex the best it can be. 

Every University of Essex student can vote and these votes alone will decide the outcome.
This is your SU so make sure your voice is heard!

Voting opens

The Sabb election -Could YOU lead your SU?

Do you think you've got what it takes to represent your fellow students? Do you want to lead an organisation with 10,000 student members and make their life better? Would you like to put on your CV that you have been responsible for running an organisation with a turnover of £3.8 million? And do you want get a one year, full-time, paid job starting in August this year?

The General Election -Complete your SU!

Of the two elections this term the General Election has the largest number of positions up for grabs.
The General Election takes place after the Sabb Elections and is your chance to choose the seven part-time student officers that will represent YOU in the year ahead.
