XMAS BEER FESTIVAL!
The University of Essex British Cultural Society presents its flagship event of the year! For the first time ever at the University of Essex, we bring to you a BEER FESTIVAL right on campus! With Real Ales and Ciders straight fresh from their casks, this festival not only aims to promote the culture of responsible drinking but also of learning to enjoy your drink as opposed to binge drinking.
Come down and taste something new! This event is aimed at ALL STUDENTS, both home and international, to have a try at what real cask ale and cider tastes like! You could end up loving one of the drinks on offer and it will definitely be a new experience for many! The ale is as fresh as you can get and when drunk in moderation, the ciders are actually healthy since they contain 90% juice.
We will have 8 different local ales and 3 types of ciders and for the wary ones, you will have the option to use a half pint glass so that you can casually taste all the drinks as the day goes by. For the more daring ones, you can always get a pint glass and fill it up!

Guest tickets
You must be over 18 to attend this event. Photographic ID will be required on the door.
We have an electronic ticketing system (no paper tickets) to gain entry to an event you must bring the credit/debit card you paid with online and photographic ID.
If your guest ticket has been bought through a student account you must be with that student in order to gain entry.
