Flirt – The biggest student night in the UK !

Welcome to Flirt the biggest student night in the UK held in over 35+ UK universities it is without exception the biggest night of them all. Students and their guests head for Sub Zero every Friday which everyone knows is going to be one heck of a party without fail. It has become so legendary in Colchester that clubbers come to the University in an attempt to get in our night !!!
We have a revolving DJ policy with 4 professional DJ/VJ’s and continually re-shape the night to give you the students the best night out possible.

Some Flirts will have dress up themes, some will be Flirt – Win, this will be come “dress to impress” and hopefully you will win something from our big giveaway nights. The Music policy at Flirt is mainstream, chart and commercial but not cheesy. This is a serious commercial club session in which if you choose you can flirt with others and make new friends here on campus. It is popular with older students too, so get along and make Flirt a must in your social calendar.

The Salsa dance is more than 500 years old

The Spanish are very fond of romance ballads and this is where Salsa gets its very romantic lyrics & melodies

It is also classified as a cardiovascular activity and can burn up to 450 calories an hour

Dancing Salsa is a great way to keep fit as regular dancing will tone the body.

The basic steps are easy to master and the beginners will quickly be able to enjoy a dance with partner.

Dance in couples.  The atmosphere is always romantic, friendly and inclusive.  In Latin America (especially in Colombia and Venezuela) all ages dance together and all you need is a willingness to participate.

So get ready for beautiful piano and gliding guitar rhythms.  Swirling round explosive beats while the brass shouts and the voices guide your feet.

As one of the greatest ‘Soneras’ Celia Cruz sang. “Live is a carnival, it’s much better to live singing” to which we add “and dancing too”
