Chair of Audit & Risk Committee/External Trustee
Based in Colchester (Non-remunerated - expenses paid)
The Students' Union is looking to bring specialist knowledge and experience onto its Board to work alongside elected Student Officers and existing External Trustees to direct the affairs of this £6 million turnover operation. We are looking for a combination of skills including experience in strategic development, legal and Audit and Risk. Understanding the not-for-profit sector would be an advantage.

Information Officer

Governance Officer

We are looking for a Governance Officer to work with the Trustee Board, committee chairs and union officers to collate and distribute relevant papers for and agendas at least 7 days before general meetings and trustee board meetings. The successful candidate will work closely with the democratic procedures of the union and will manage the admistration of the Student Representative Forum. We are looking for an experienced Technical Events and Services manager to work with the Entertainments Department, maintaining audio visual equipment and being responsible for setting up and putting away equipment. We are looking for an enthusiastic Sports Co-ordinator to join our Student Activities and Development team. The role entails working with team captains and club presidents, inducting them and helping to promote and increase membership. Senior Shift Leader (Front-of-House)

Salaries: (Pro-rata to £13,486pa)
We are looking for one full time and two part time Senior Shift Leaders working with the Front Of House team in our fast-paced restaurant, Frango's. The role requires ensuring that excellent customer service is given throughout the venue, assisting in relevant stock control and managing bookings at busy periods. Responsibilities include managing the staff rota for all Front of House staff, supervising student staff and opening and closing the venue. We are looking for a Senior Shift Leader to work within our venues department. The role includes opening and setting up the venue before operation and closing down, cashing up and performing end of day reconciliation afterwards. This role requires you to work with the Entertainments Manager and Deputy Venues Manager for event planning and marketing.
