what's the rabbit?
The Rabbit is the newspaper for students by students, and there's a new issue out every other Friday. It is an excellent platform for anyone wanting to have some fun, launch a media career or merely make their CV stand out a little.
You can write news, write sports reports, features on current issues, comment pieces on all the more relevant issues, review music and films or even have a go at designing it or taking photographs to accompany the articles!
We provide opportunities to help in design, using industry standard software (Adobe Creative Suite). theRabbit is an excellent way to gain work experience if you are hoping to work in journalism, PR or design, and it's not all work - you also get the opportunity to join a fun, diverse and friendly group of students with frequent socials and great team interaction.

Signing up and getting started is as easy as 1, 2, 3...
Select what section of the Rabbit you'd like to work with. If you fancy contributing to a section take a look at what we have, and if you don't see what you want, suggest it to us.
Join the Media Guild. Don't forget that by joining the Guild, you also join SX:TV and RED (the radio station), and for only £10 that's a bargain!
Send an e-mail to the editor of the section you want to work with, or the Editor himself. You can either suggest what you'd like to write about, or ask about what's hot this fortnight!
