Following the Articles of Governance and the By Laws the Students’ Union is giving 14 days’ notice to members of the Annual General Meeting, and the By-Election and Election.

The Students’ Union's Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held as part of the Student Representative Forum (SRF) on Thursday, October 30^th at 6pm in Senate Room (4.722).

The items of business for the AGM are:

• Ratifiations of minutes of previous AGM
• Receiving the Trustee’s Report
• Receiving the Accounts
• Appointment of the Auditors
• Approval of the list of Affiliations in accordance with the Education Act
• Open questions to the Trustees by members

The By-Election and Election will run from Monday, November 3^rd until Friday, November 14^th/21^st, if these dates are approved at the SRF on October 30^th.

Nominations will be open 10am on Monday, November 3^rd and close at 4pm on Friday, November 7^th.

Voting will open at 10am on November 12^th and run until 4pm on November 14^th.

Note: If a motion passes at Student Representative Forum the following dates and times for voting will stand.

Voting will open at 10am on November 18^th and run until 4pm on November 20^th.

The By-Election will be for two positions:

• Equality and Diversity Officer
• Deputy Chair of SRF

The Election will be for one position:

• Postgraduate Officer

Results will be announced on Friday, November 14^th/Friiday, November 21^st.
