Accreditation
To acknowledge your efforts in Voluntary Work, the Vteam holds an annual Volunteer Awards evening every year. As well as special awards all those who have volunteered are eligible for an Awards Certificate (depending on the hours of certified volunteering you have completed) which confirms your involvement and recognises your achievement. This is an internal accreditation and will be verified by your passport so make sure you keep it up to date
10hrs: Recognition of Volunteering Certificate Award
50hrs: Achievement in Volunteering Certificate Award
100hrs: Excellence in Volunteering Certificate Award
Over 100hrs: Outstanding Contribution to Volunteering Certificate Award
You are also eligible to be nominated for other national awards throughout the year including the Student Volunteering England Gold Award, the Matt Spencer Award and the Higher Education Awards.
There will also be an External Accreditation called the ASDAN Certificate in Community Volunteering Level 2 (CCV). The CCV is a nationally recognised qualification listed in the National Qualifications Framework.
It is equivalent to NSVQ Level 2 vocational qualification and 2 GCSE grade B. For further details of this scheme please contact the Vteam
