AIMS:

• To promote Kurdish culture
• To celebrate Newroz, a Kurdish new year, where Kurds gather into fairgrounds mostly outside the cities to welcome spring. Women wear colored dresses and spangled head scarves and young men wave flags of green, yellow and red, the historic colors of Kurdish people. They hold this festival by lighting fire and dancing around it
• Discussion and understanding of the Kurdish Question
• To meet and socialsie with fellow Kurds and those who hold an interest in the culture and the language
• To hold cultural nights in collabration with other cultural societies
