The Bollywood Society
How would I describe Bollywood? Exciting. Exotic. Extravagant. That’s why we decided the University of Essex needed a brand new Bollywood Society.
Who am I? A fan of the fire and passion of all things Bollywood. We will convert you too, I swear.
We guarantee that you will be lost in the AWESOMENESS of our society, if you join up at Freshers’. Here’s a snapshot of what we’ll be doing on a regular basis:
· Dance classes once every two weeks: These will be taught by the highly prestigious Honey’s Dance Academy: http://www.honeysdanceacademy.com/. Why not boost your appreciation of Bollywood music and dance as well as your fitness?
· Film nights every two weeks: You can look forward to cheesy songs, hilarious dance routines and plenty of over-the-top acting, so definitely come down for a laugh!
· A whole host of amazing socials to suit every taste, East and West.
· And if that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, we will be hosting loads of events throughout the year, including a MASSIVE end of year event 'Planet Bollywood' on 14TH MAY 2011, so watch this space!
