The Students’ Union supports a Societies Guild that covers cultural, religious, political, social and academic interests so there is something for everyone. If you want to meet like-minded people or learn something new, joining a society is definitely the way to go.

All societies are open to anyone to join, regardless of gender, ethnic origin, race or sexual orientation. You can visit the Students’ Union reception any time to sign up or do it online by choosing the society and joining them.

If none of the existing societies appeals to you, then why not start one up yourself? All you need is a society start up form (available HERE or from SU reception) with 20 signatures from potential members.
