Everyone can join our club, with absolutely no exceptions! There are a variety of memberships that are outlined in further detail below as well as instructions on how to join us. N.B. session fees are additional to what is outlined below and covers transport to and from all pools as well as the pool hire, although whether we will be able to offer a number of payment schemes is still to be confirmed, our best prices work out at less than a pound a session!

Student Membership

Entitles you to insurance for all sessions, whether swimming or waterpolo, and enter all competitions attended by the club throughout the year. All socials and other events are included. To qualify for this membership however you must be a registered student at Essex University (any campus!)

To join, our new membership year will begin in September 2010, so from the 1st you will be able to access the link to join directly from here. You will then be taken to a page from which you can purchase the £15 membership to the club and will be prompted by the page to add a sports fed membership as well which unfortunately is compulsory, at £10, however this is only payable once for the year, no matter how many sports clubs you choose to join.

 

Associate Membership

This membership is specifically for those who are not currently registered students at Essex, whether they are alumni or not. This similarly covers insurance for all sessions as well as all socials and extra events. Competition eligibility for this membership is however limited by the BUCS rules on participation, however there are other opportunities to compete that will be open to all.

Any one interested in joining as an associate, the prices are the same as above, but with an additional £10 membership to the Student's Union, which is usually included in a student's registration with the university.
