VP Student Activities
The President of the Sports Federation is responsible for the overall running of the clubs within the Federation and its political leadership. They are ultimately responsible for club budgets, discipline and equipment. As well as liaising closely with the Sports Centre to ensure the provision of facilities for student led sport the President is the first point of contact in regards to BUCS (British Universities Colleges Sport).

Sports Fed Treasurer
The Treasurer is responsible for coordinating with the Finance Committee to discuss the allocation of the Sports Federation budget. Alongside this they hold budget and audit meetings with our individual clubs to ensure the money granted to them is spent as specified.

Tom Chesterton
Sports Development Officer
The Sports Development Officer is expected to explore the various revenues through which or clubs can progress and achieve new aims and goals. Alongside the task of helping facilitate mini-bus tests are taken by students and increase the awareness of the sports bursary scheme.

Sonum Patel
Community and Volunteering Officer
This role is to liaise with the SU Community and Volunteering Manager and staff, to provide the Clubs with opportunities to volunteer, and find opportunities for Clubs that require it. To work closely with each Club Representative to ensure the vision of the Union in the Community is always improving.
Jack Whitworth
Charity and Fundraising Officer
The Fundraising Officer will be required to work closely with the President and Events Officer on Sports Fed nights and Sports Fed Charity Week, RAG Week and the wider SU fundraising projects. They will look at those clubs in debt, or difficult financial situations and look at ways for them to self fund.

Becky Fisher
Events Officer
The remit of the Events Officer is to simply help facilitate the large events such as Derby Day and Alumni, whilst also working with the Fundraising Officer around large scale charity events, and large scale volunteer projects. This Officer should be the first point of call when looking to Host a Sports Fed and along with the Charity and Fundraising Officer, will look at using these to improve Clubs financial situations. They must also work with the Sports Centre in promoting the internal tournaments and events to students.

Rachel Taylor
Alumni Officer
The Alumni Officer’s main role is to coordinate the annual Alumni Weekend. This also includes working throughout the year at improving links with clubs and their Alumni to make sure we have a successful weekend. Previous officers have attempted to strengthen ties regarding old-boy/girl funding for clubs, using the Alumni Fund specific for Clubs.
Faye Edwards
Communications Officer
The role of this officer is to take minutes at every Sports Fed General Meeting and publish them for the membership. Send out regular bulletin with information about Events, Fixtures, Sports Centre info etc. Also work to involve the media to promote sport.

Finance Committee(5)
The Finance committee work closely with the Treasurer to discuss the Budget requests sent in by Clubs at the start of the year and throughout. They must vote on the budgets requested to allow all clubs equal and fair for all Clubs.
General Representatives
The Sports Federation General Reps are free of a specific port-folio to help facilitate the other Sports Federation Executive Officers. Within the federal structure they have an important role to play. Whilst the other officers (excluding the Treasurer) have specific remits, the Reps are on hand to ensure that they are doing their jobs. Should an officer fail to hold a federal meeting the clubs can come in confidence to a Rep should they not wish or be able to contact the President.
