LOOKING TO HOLD AN EVENT IN AN SU VENUE?

The first question is easy (actually, all of them are), is this booking for a sports club or society?

  • Please ensure you give us 3 weeks’ notice before your event so we can arrange staff, tickets and costings.
  • Until you’ve received an email from a venues manager stating that your event is confirmed, it’s not confirmed. Please do not book any forms of entertainment or advertise your event until you receive confirmation.
  • We’re sorry but you can’t bring your own catering into the venues for health and safety reasons. If you require catering, please let us know so that we can help you with this.
  • If you need to cancel your event (hopefully not), please remember to give us 3 working days’ notice so that we can cancel staff in plenty of time.
  • If you cancel your event less than 3 days out, or do not turn up for your event, you will be charged the full cost which will have been sent to the organiser and the Societies Guild in advance.
  • We reserve the right to cancel events.
