Hey, I’m Jamane your 22/23 black officer.

I (try to) study electronic engineering and have been here at Essex for quite some time. I’m here to help people from black backgrounds connect, find like-minded people and to build one big community where they can feel safe and valued. 

I'm also here to help with any issues you may have regarding the SU or the university, even if it is just needing some help finding your way around.

Don’t hesitate to contact me(my email can be found below) and make sure you follow @uoeblacknetwork on Instagram to keep up to date on the latest mixers and events I’ll be throwing throughout the year. I hope to hear from you!
