I am a gay women, I came out when I was 23 years old. I was faced with a lot of challenges and stigmas so I understand how scary it can be to advocate for yourself and your own needs. I understand the need for a judgement free space, to feel supported and listened too. I helped facilitate a LGBTQ+ support group before I graduated at the university I attended when I did my undergrad. I would love the chance to keep up that work and be someone that individuals within the community can come to whenever they want or need too.
