We can now offer you the chance get your CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety which is legal requirement for anyone who wants to make or serve food.
Complete this course and you will hold a nationally recognised professional qualification!

- Due to the popularity and cost for us to run this session free of charge for you, we ask that a £5 deposit is paid at the point of booking.
- You will be able to collect your deposit in cash at SU reception after the event has taken place and we can confirm you attended the session. You will be emailed to let you know when your deposit is ready to collect, this usually takes 2-3 working days. Apologies but we are unable to refund this directly on to your card.

What will I learn?
- The importance of Food Safety
- Knowledge of the systems, techniques and procedures involved in food handling
- Understand how to control food safety risks (personal hygiene, food storage, cooking and handling)
- Confidence and expertise to safely deliver quality food to customers
What will I do?
The course runs over 1 day, with a 60 min multiple choice assessment at the end which is accredited by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) - pass this and you will have a nationally recognised professional qualification in the safe handling of food which is a legal requirement for any role working with food.
