Suri) is a traditional Iranian festival celebrated on the eve of the last
Wednesday of the year\, marking the start of Nowruz (Persian New Year)\,
where people jump over bonfires as a symbolic act of purification and re
newal\, signifying the triumph of light over darkness\, deeply rooted in
Zoroastrian traditions\; the name literally translates to "\;Red Wedn
esday"\; in Persian\, with "\;Suri"\; meaning "\;red"
\; or "\;fiery"\; color associated with the flames.
\nAs we
cannot have the fire work in the closed place\, we will dance and fire th
e place down with dancing.
