The Creative Community Project (formally Art Club ) \;focusses on providing wellbeing and mindfulness-oriented art sess ions to adults with learning disabilities at a day centre. As the name su ggests\, this project is about being creative and artsy\, but it is open to anyone (so don'\;t be shy to try it\, even if you never tried any arts and crafts before). This project proves that arts an d crafts are not only a hobby but a powerful tool to help other people ex press themselves.

Perhaps you&rsquo\;re lacki ng inspiration for your next piece of coursework or the thought alone is driving you mad\, our sessions are exactly what you need to give yourself a boost and help others in the meantime!

Please note \;that\, after you register\, the process of onboarding you to be ready to volunteer with the project may \;take several days. This is becau se we'\;ll need to reach out to you with our \;volunteering agreem ent\, which you will need to accept\, and a link to \;safeguarding tr aining\, which you will need to complete. We'\;d therefore suggest you register ASAP\, to be able to book yourself onto as many Creative Commun ity Project sessions as possible :)
