\nRTP volunteers teach English to the refugees and asylum seekers in Colchester. You don'\;t need any qualifications and the only language you must be proficient in is English. \;
\n\n\;
\n\nVolunteers at our Tuesday and Thursday \;sessions are teaching assist ants to the teachers. You may be supporting a group of students or leadin g a smaller group who need individual support. At our Monday \;sessio ns\, you'\;ll help plan sessions and deliver the content.

\n\nRTP makes a massive positive difference to the local comm unity and by taking part\, you will be actively helping people\, who were forced to leave their homes\, make a life for themselves here. \;

\n\nTuesday and Thursday Sessions run from 9:30 am -1 2:50 pm including travel times. Travel is covered by VTeam.
\ n\nMonday Sessions run from 11:00 am - 1:30 \;pm including travel times. Travel is covered by VTeam.
\n\nPle ase note \;that\, after you register\, the process of onboar ding you to be ready to volunteer with the project may \;take several days. This is because we'\;ll need to reach out to you with our \ ;volunteering agreement\, which you will need to accept\, and a link to&n bsp\;safeguarding training\, which you will need to complete. We'\;d t herefore suggest you register ASAP\, to be able to book yourself onto as many Refugee Teaching Programme sessions as possible :)
