\nRTP volunteers teach English to the refugees and asylum seekers in Colchester. You don't need any qualifications and the only language you m ust be proficient in is English. \;

Volunteers at our Tuesday and Thursday \;sessions are teaching assistants to the t eachers. You may be supporting a group of students or leading a smaller g roup who need individual support. At our Monday \;sessions\, you'll h elp plan sessions and deliver the content.

RTP makes a massive positive difference to the local community and by taking part\, you will be actively helping people\, who were forced to leave their hom es\, make a life for themselves here. \;

Tuesday and Thursday Session s run from 9:50 am -12:45 pm including travel times. Travel is covered by VTeam.
Monday Sessions run from 11:00 am - 1:30&n bsp\;pm including travel times. Travel is covered by VTeam.
< p>Please note \;that\, after you register\, the proc ess of onboarding you to be ready to volunteer with the project may \ ;take several days. This is because we'll need to reach out to you with o ur \;volunteering agreement\, which you will need to accept\, and a l ink to \;safeguarding training\, which you will need to complete. We' d therefore suggest you register ASAP\, to be able to book yourself onto as many Refugee Teaching Programme sessions as possible :)\;< /p>
