 e">We follow the teachings in the Lotus Sutra\, as revealed by a Japanese
  priest\, Nichiren Daishonin in the 13th Century\, and developped by Dais
 aku Ikeda through Soka Gakkai international for the 21st Century.&nbsp\;<
 /p><p>We chant Nam-myoho-renge-kyo which is a vow\, an expression of dete
 rmination\, to embrace and manifest our Buddha nature. It is a pledge to 
 oneself to never yield to difficulties and to win over one's suffering. A
 t the same time\, it is a vow to help others reveal this potential in the
 ir own lives and achieve happiness.&nbsp\;</p><p>We respect the dignity o
 f all human life\, which means we campaign against Climate Change\, and t
 o ban the use of Nuclear weapons through the United Nations.&nbsp\;</p><p
 >We meet in the Faith Centre on the first Monday of every month between 6
 :30pm and 7:30pm where we discuss how Nichiren Buddhism can bring about c
