The Venue Assistant will supervise activities within the SU's student social space 'The Lounge', and also contribute ideas and suggestions to help develop and improve the services and activities provided in the space
WHAT YOU'LL DO.
THE DAY TO DAY.
As a Venue Assistant you will be the front-line provider of excellent customer service, meeting and greeting, making everybody feel welcome, carrying out general duties such as preparing and serving food and drinks, till operation, helping to keep the service and social areas clean, neat and tidy.

Your Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service
- Prepare and serve food and drinks to required standard and in line with Health & Safety regulations
- Till operation and cash handling
- Attend all relevant training
- Assist with any other duties, as may be reasonably required
- Assist in promotions
- Maintain high standards within the Social Space
- Ensure consistent security of the area and its equipment
- Carry out any necessary cleaning on a regular basis
- Report any maintenance issues to the Services & Activities Manager
