korfball

hello, we are the essex blades korfball club

Korfball is a fast paced, dynamic sport and is the only truly mixed team sport in the world. Suitable for anyone, Korfball is similar to Netball and Basketball. Originally from the Netherlands, the word ‘Korf’ is simply Dutch for basket. Teams must comprise of 4 males and 4 females. Teams are split into two divisions, attack and defence, each consisting of 2 men and 2 women. Korfball is a non-contact sport, and players can only mark/defend players of the same sex. We are a friendly, charismatic, and fun sports club, ready to welcome everyone and anyone!
