East 15 students are made up of rich variety of different communities. We want to make sure ALL these communities have a voice and have the power to make real change to both the SU and the University.
The Student Parliament meets once a month and is made up of elected representatives from these communities.
Student Parliament has the power to impliment SU policies and the hold your elected officials accountable and to highlight and discuss other issues that relate to the communities represented .
Every month Parliament will also receive an update on how the SU is doing with regards to the 'Improving Loughton Life' Big Plan. All the minutes from these meetings can be found here and if you would like to add to the agenda and see a topic raised or discussed the list of representatives can be found below.
Election nominations will open on 23rd October close on 1st November. Voting will take place on 4th and 5th November.
By nominating yourself you agree to the SU contacting you regarding the Southend Student Parliament Elections.
