Hey everyone!
As you may know or have seen, the past few weeks have been very active on the online! * and we intent to maintain the pace, in order to feed out all the important information you might need!
The campus accommodation tour has officially ended, and you can find that on our Instagram page Essex SU.
In other order of business, the past 2 weeks were filled with how we can work with the university in order to be ready for your arrival. There are plans in place already for the Arrival dates, so no worries, you are more than likely to see us at the airports the university is organising pick-ups from.
We will be looking to offer all of you a warm welcome plus any help you will need to arrive safe and sound at Essex University.
We also worked closely with the university to ensure all your academic needs will be represented and delivered. We are looking and quickly making progress in ensuring that whether present in classes or online, you will have everything you might need in order to achieve your academic goals!
Finally, we are planning ahead into the year, in order to ensure there will be plenty for you to do while studying at Essex!
A quick summary on what I have been working on:
- Academic learning and student concerns as part of the big plan
- Social media presence in order to facilitate answers to international students
- Work preparation for Arrival Weeks
- Consolidated events for the Welcome Week
- Promotion of cultural societies and their presence in the next academic year
Plenty of stuff have been achieved, and there is still plenty to work to do!
