The campus garden’s really starting to take shape now, we’ve planted beans, onions, radishes, beets, parsnips and potatoes! I held a St Patrick’s Day event where we planted first early potatoes, and then had a bonfire to get rid of the excess wood in the garden (where we also toasted marshmallows)! We hold weekly gardening sessions on Wednesday afternoons to get the garden into shape, and hopefully after the Easter break we’ll be able to engage more students and set up some more frequent sessions for people to come down and do some growing.
