At some point during the day you’re going to need to eat, which is why the Students' Union runs the SU Food Bar, the mouth-watering Mondo Pizza restaurant, and the brand new Students’ Union Bakery.
Unlike other takeaways or restaurants, any profit made in our outlets goes straight back into improving student life at Essex.

The Bakery (square 3) - NEW FOR 2008-09!
This year’s most exciting addition to campus, offering you freshly baked pasties, pies, sausage rolls, bread and much more.
Open early for breakfast rolls, then all the way through until the wee hours of the morning, making it perfect for post-pub and club snacks.
Mondo Pizza (off square 3, near the LTB)
Enjoy delicious, freshly made pizzas in the only student restaurant on campus. And if you’re feeling lazy why not get takeaway pizza delivered to your room?
SU Food Bar (square 3)
A legend in its own lunchtime, the food bar serves up cheap, unpretentious comfort food, including the best breakfasts on campus.
