VP Education

Hey! I’m Joe, your VP Education, and I work to improve your academic experience at the University of Essex and shape the SU alongside the Student Leadership Team. I’ve recently graduated after three years of studying my Creative Writing degree here at Essex, alongside my degree I’ve got involved with a range of extracurricular activities, now I want to give back and help everyone have a fantastic, distinctly Essex education.

As you may have guessed by my degree - I love being creative - whether it’s writing, photography or working on campaigns. My passion is using my creativity to solve problems, like when I was recently on the Advisory Board of Lady Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation or working in media, now I get to use it to ensure you get the best education possible!
