Housing
The Advice Centre can offer advice and guidance on Housing and how to rent properties in the Private Sector. We can advise and offer information about tenant rights and responsibilities, about repairs, repossession, eviction, harassment by landlords, contracts and deposits.
We can also answer queries related to University Accommodation.
If for any reason we are unable to answer your query we can offer advice and contact details for other support services who may be better able to advise you.
Please follow the links on the right for further guidance. If you would like to speak to an Adviser about your query please do not hesitate to contact the Advice Centre.

Housing workshop video
The Advice Centre runs Housing Workshops to help prepare students when looking to move out of University Halls of Residence into Private Sector Accommodation. The workshops aim to give you more information about your rights as a tenant and what to look out for when renting in the Private Sector.
The workshops are run jointly between the Students' Union Advice Centre, StudentLets and the Private Sector Accommodation Office and take place in the Autumn and Spring Terms.
NB. There are currently no further workshops for this academic year.
