The Students’ Union Advice Centre is running drop-in sessions once a month in The Union building in Southend.
We can offer confidential advice on many of the issues affecting students including:
• Housing and Renting in the Private Sector
• Health Costs
• Immigration and Visa extensions
• Academic and Disciplinary Procedures
• Making Complaints
• Extenuating Circumstances and Absences
As well as advice, you can get free condoms and we sell Personal Security Alarms (£1) and Pregnancy Tests (£2). These can also be bought from Reception at any time.
