Judo

 
The training times for 2009/2010 : Tuesday 8.30-10pm
                                                    Saturday 2-4pm
Regular training sessions will start on Tuesday 13th of October.  Our members are judo players of all levels and newcomers are always welcomed.  Our aims for this year are to increase club membership and increase participation in gradings and competitions.  A typical training session will consist of warm-up exercises and stretches followed by some ground fighting (ne-waza), standing technique training (tachi-waza) and free sparring at the end (randori).
Whilst we encourage our students to compete in competitions and take part in randori, we do not force anyone to do anything they are not confortable with and our members are free to sit out during randori.
