Welcome to the University of Essex Mountaineering Club. We are an Essex campus-based society for both Guys and Gals. Meeting three times a week; the club offers the chance to get active, learn new skills, and meet new people. We offer a challenging and enjoyable sport for students and non-students wishing to get involved in a Sports Society within the Essex Students Union.
Be part of one of the most adrenaline inducing sports around!
Develop yourself physically and mentally, face challenges head on and chill out with your mates. We are a welcoming society and have the facilities to accommodate a whole range of abilities from novice onwards. We also have a varied and challenging range of climbing routes and grades and offer the use of our equipment to members for climbing sessions
