UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX AC

The club caters for all abilities, from the casual runner, jumper or thrower, to those wishing to compete at higher levels. We are affiliated with a local Colchester Athletics club with whom we organise sessions to cater to everyone's personal needs.

All members of the executive committee are eager to help you meet your personal goals, and to offer support and guidance.

We provide training and competition for cross-country, track & field, multi-events & road running.

Membership costs £10 a year, session fees are £1 per session (Monday and Wednesdays). Remember, in order to join ANY of the sports team at Essex University, you have to have paid a one-off £10 fee to the sports federation.

We also attend circuit training regularly every Thursday as a club in the Sports Centre. These sessions are FREE and a great way to meet other club members!

We take part in:

  • University Relay Series- Birmingham, Hyde Park, Oxford, Nottingham
