UNIVERSITY OF ESSEX ATHLETICS CLUB
University of Athletics club caters for people of all abilities who are interested in running, throwing or jumping. For our track sessions we are affiliated with a local Athletics club called Colchester and Tendering with whom we organise sessions to cater to everyone's personal needs and abilities this session only costs £1 a time. We also have a session that takes place on campus on a Sunday and is run by people on the committee. This session is very different to the track session and adds variety to your training. We also try to get as many people to attend circuit training on Thursday in the sports centre which is free.
We participate in events and train all through the year. We run in the London colleges cross country league which is a competition that people of all abilities are able to complete in and is a great way to build up your fitness. We also have a Sessa indoor championships and take part in the prestigious BUCS indoor and outdoor events as well as taking part in the BUCS national cross country championships.
Our membership is only £10 a year which you pay on top of the £10 fee to sports federation.

BUCS Outdoor track & field championships - Bedford International Stadium
TRAINING
Mondays - 6.30pm-8.00pm - Garrison Track
Wednesdays - 6.30pm-8.00pm - Garrison Track
Thursdays - 5pm-6pm- Circuit Training- Sports Centre
Sunday - 10.30am-12.00pm - Meet outside the Sports Centre
