BJJ

Brazilian Jiujitsu is predominantly a grappling martial art which focuses on subsmission holds such as armlocks, chokes and strangles. It is well known for its effectiveness in "no holds barred" and mma style fights. As a club we promote participation in competitions but also see the benefits of training in BJJ for self defense as it is an exellent way of overcoming strength with technique, allowing a weaker person to defend him or herself efficiently.
Beginners are always welcome!
