Snowsports is a fun and social club that enables you to meet loads of new people and provides opportunities to Ski and Snowboard around the UK and abroad.
Anyone is welcome even if you have never tried a snowsport before we can offer you lessons and training to help you feel confident for our easter tour.
Our easter tour is the biggest tour of the university with over 100 students from the university attending, and you dont have to go to the uni to come along friends and family are welcome to join us on our trip. The trip occurs on the first week of the easter holidays for one week and will be one of the best weeks you experience at the university.
The Snowsports club compete in the British University Sports Association (BUSA) Championships. The club is open to all students and staff at the advertised membership price below . Non-students and students at other institutions should contact the Sports and Societies Office (sportsandsocs@essex.ac.uk) for details on how to join.
To sign up as a member of this club please ensure that you have first registered to www.essexstudent.com and click on the membership payment icon (add to basket) at the bottom of the page, then you can pay via Debit or Credit Card through the online payment system. Alternatively you can sign up as a member of this club by enquiring at the Students' Union Reception by providing your PRID number on your student card.
