The Volleyball club has a men’s and women’s team competing in the British University Sports Association competition (BUSA). The club participates in internal competitions and friendly matches in the local area.
1) To be able to join the club and play on the teams you must become a member of the University or be a student at the university. (Non-students Essex University students should contact the Sports and Societies office for details on how to gain membership EMAIL: sportsandsocs@essex.ac.uk)
2) The next step is to purchase your Volleyball membership which is valid for a whole year! To purchase a University of Essex Volleyball Club membership click on ‘add to basket’ before paying using a Credit or Debit card. Alternatively, you can purchase at the Student’s Union Reception with your student PRID number.
3) The next step is to start training! The club also uses a termly session fee which is usually between £10-15 depending on equipment purchased or tournaments attended but it is kept as low as possible to save money for parties!
