Welcome to the Sabbatical Elections 2010
Your Students’ Union (SU) is here to make student life at Essex the best it can possibly be. To achieve this, the SU is run by a group of students that are elected each year.
Any student can put themselves forward for election and if they get enough votes, be given the opportunity to lead an exciting, dynamic organisation capable of achieving real change.
So if you think you could lead your SU, this is your big chance....

Your guide to the elections
In February, students will elect five Sabbatical Officers to lead the SU from August 2010 - July 2011.
Most people that put themselves forward for the Sabbatical Elections have never done it before, so we've put together a guide and this website to help make the process as simple as possible.
On this site and in the election handbook you'll find information on how the elections work, what you need to do if you want to take part, and tips on running a successful campaign.
