Representing you 24/7

The Students’ Union was set up by students more than 40 years ago to make sure that we all have a voice and that life at Essex is the best it could possibly be.

To this day, the Union is run by a group of twelve student officers so that it is always in touch with your feelings and understands your priorities.

Three sets of elections are held each year to decide which students run the Union, and everyone is able to have their say by voting online.

The student officers are here to help you and stand up for you, so whatever’s on your mind you can get in touch with them at any time. Simply visit essexstudent.com/yourunion for their contact details and to find out more about their roles.
