We're all working hard to ensure that when you come back to campus, you'll be able to enjoy your SU membership and get the full student experience during these unprecedented times, whilst keeping the campus a safe environment for everyone.

We are following the government guidelines and we've put the following measures in place to keep you safe:

  • We'll be managing the number of people coming into our venues at any one time
  • When you're walking around, there will be one way systems in many of our areas
  • You'll see some protective screens for the safety of you and our lovely SU staff
  • Our licensed trade venues are set up to provide socially distanced seating
  • You'll be able to place your food and drinks order easily and quickly through our app
  • You can be assured that there is an enhanced cleaning regime in place

You'll see some changes to our venues

NEW Nightingale Arms

Until the government gives nightclubs the go ahead to re-open we're getting creative and transforming our nightclub, Sub Zero, into a new venue called 'The Nightingale Arms'. This new (temporary) underground drinking space will bring you a load of great events, take a seat and enjoy some drinks with some banging beats in the background!

NEW SU Takeaway

We want to ensure that you can still enjoy your favourite SU dishes like MOA Burgers and Wraps, and Pizzas. To make this possible, we’re setting up a 'Click and Collect' Service for food on Square 3, next to the SU Bar. You’ll be able to order through our new Food and Drink app. Since you'll be able to takeaway your favourite SU food, it wont be available for now in the SU Bar and we're temporarily repurposing our MOA restuarant.. read on.

NEW SU Pop-Up Café, Proudly serving Starbucks

Come along to our new SU Pop-Up Café on campus, grab your lunch on the go and choose from a load of tasty treats. And where is this popping up? You'll find us where MOA used to be. And dont worry, we're still proudly serving Starbucks from this new, bigger, bright and airy home.

You can find us online too

As well as making sure that all of our on-campus services are safe, we'll also be making it easy to use your SU membership benefits online, including societies, clubs, SU Advice and SU Reception.
