If you haven’t guessed already our theme for Derby day this year is that of Spartans vs Athenians!
This theme lends itself to our Home Derby day perfectly. We have far smaller numbers than the opposition but are far more skilled, we are expected to be beaten easily every year but always stand our ground and most importantly every year, win or lose, Essex student’s never give up and fight to the last.
This is the Essex way and we will show UEA this once more when we slaughter them on our own ground.
