Physiotherapy Society

This society aims to ensure physiotherapy students at the University of Essex have access to a variety of opportunities outside of our usual lectures. We hope to enhance the student experience by offering continuing professional development (CPD), mental health support, fun activities for de-stressing, and AHP networking through the facilitation of events with established societies such as the Occupational Therapy (OT) Society and Speech and Language Therapy (SALT) Society. We ultimately want students to get the most out of their physiotherapy experience at the University of Essex.

As a member, you will receive opportunities to:

• Engage with other physiotherapy students and learn about their experiences, placements, and more. 
• Network with students in other AHPs such as occupational therapy. 
• Gain access to different lectures and guest speaking events. 
• Take part in society socials and wellness events.
• Brush up on different skills such as manual handling (based on member requests) 
• Have a say in what YOU want out of your degree!
