Welcome to the V-Team!
The V-Team is the Students’ Union volunteering organisation. We’re here to help you get out there, make a difference and have fun. Whatever you’re into, like designing a website for a charity, being a sports coach, mentoring a young offender, or getting stuck in with some practical conservation work, the V-Team is for you.
The V-Team supports student-led projects and we are keen to develop many more, so if you have an idea for a project, get in touch and the V-Team will help you set up and fund it. We also act like a volunteer agency; we match the interests and strengths of students with the needs of the local community and then place students with the charities that need volunteers.
Volunteering with the V-Team is really flexible, so you can meet coursework deadlines and other commitments and get involved as little or as much as you like. There is no fee to join the V-Team and we will pay your volunteering expenses.
