We do this because some of us might not self-define with the same gender or sexuality as when we first started university. This becomes important around SU Elections as we want to limit the voting of who should lead communities to those that belong to that community only. Set your preferences below.

WHAT IS A LOUGHTON EXECUTIVE MEMBER?

Members of the Loughton Executive:

  • Represent all students at Loughton fairly at SU Council
  • Support the East15 Loughton President in collecting student feedback and representing their voice further
  • Support engagement activities/events where relevant
  • Build relationships within the Loughton community
  • Are a key contact for people to talk about Loughton East 15
  • Encourage members to participate in all areas of the Students’ Union at Loughton
  • Engage with relevant communities and act as the gateway to them
  • Work as a team with other Loughton Exec members and the East15 Loughton President
