Who runs the SU? Students! You guys call all the shots. You're the Big Cheese, collectively. 🧀

The biggest way you make change is by making your voice heard, either by running for leadership roles, or voting in the SU Elections to choose who represents you. So get ready to VOTE LIKE A STUDENT!

There are two types of 'leccys coming up this term:

SU Leadership Election

  • This election is about choosing who leads the SU and advocates for you.
  • The roles are SU President, VP Education, VP Welfare, and VP Activities.
  • These are four full-time, paid roles.
  • No bull***t, these jobs are hard work, but very rewarding.

SU Communities Election - Sports & Societies

  • These elections are about selecting who runs your societies and sports clubs.
  • Each society/club will vote for their President, Vice President, Treasurer, Welfare Officer, and Secretary.
  • The roles are voluntary and part-time, but they are a commitment.
  • You can only vote in elections for clubs/societies that you're a member of - no voting for the Prez of Taylor Swift soc if you're not a Swiftie, soz!

Applications open 19 February. Voting opens 10-12 March.
