What do dish soap, bicarbonate of soda, ketchup and pennies have in common? They can all be used as part of a fun science experiment! Science Club (formally Einstein) is all about getting primary school kids interested in science. Science Club makes science fun and entertaining by giving interactive facts and presentations, as well as performing science experiments. Our volunteers create engaging experiments using simple household items and ingredients. The sessions consist of a general introduction and then individual lessons on Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Weekly projects span from erupting ‘volcanos’ to making ‘lava lamps’. We can assure you, it’s not only kids who find these experiments awesome, you’ll find your inner scientist and enjoy them as well!
Register now to find out how to book onto sessions.
Sessions will start on 23rd January, and will happen on Thursdays between 14:30 - 16:30 (including travel times).
All travel expenses are covered by VTeam.
To take part in this project, you will need to register via GradIntel here.
