Maths Club is a regular, weekly project that teaches primary school children maths. One week you could be teaching children the multiplication tables and the next you could be teaching teenagers how to budget. Maths is diverse and relevant in so many aspects of everyday life, it’s only natural to get excited about them. So if numbers are good friends of yours and you wish to impart your wisdom, then come along to one of their sessions.
Practice your numeracy while improving children’s confidence with numbers. No experience or level of qualification required, just enthusiasm and a >0 (positive) attitude.
Register now to find out how to book onto sessions.
Sessions start on Thursday 6th November 14:30 – 16:30 (travel times included). Travel expenses are covered by VTeam.
Please note that, after you register, the process of onboarding you to be ready to volunteer with the project may take several days. This is because we'll need to reach out to you with our volunteering agreement, which you will need to accept, and a link to safeguarding training, which you will need to complete. We'd therefore suggest you register ASAP, to be able to book yourself onto as many Maths Club sessions as possible :)
To take part in this project, you will need to register via GradIntel here.
