Get involved and donate food for Foodbank Friday as part of Student Volunteering Week!

Foodbank Friday is a day-long drive to collect as many donations for the Colchester Foodbank as possible. All members of our University - students and staff - will have the opportunity to drop off items at a collection point in front of the SU Store. It is a great way to give something back and make someone's day!

You will find us on Square 4 right outside the SU Store on Friday 13th February between 10am and 5pm, where our friendly volunteers will be on hand to tell you about this initiative and accept your donations.

We need your help!

We would be so grateful for any donations that you can spare, whether you raid the back of your cupboards or you stop by the SU Store right next to our collection point! Whether you come with a few tins of beans or armed with shopping bags of stuff, we will be grateful for anything that you can spare.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to Colchester Foodbank's ability to give everyone referred to them a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.
