FAQ's:
Q: Who can join the Girls’ Run Club?
A: The club is open to women and those who identify with womanhood. It’s designed as a supportive space for people who feel more comfortable running in a women-centred environment.
Q: Do I have to be a good runner to join?
A: Not at all! All abilities are welcome. Whether you’ve never run before or run regularly, the club is about encouragement, community, and moving at your own pace. We will have someone at the back for anyone who isn't as confident but wants to join!
Q: Is it free?
A: Not only is it free, but we are supplying free drinks and snacks in the Atrium for afterwards! Because you deserve a sweet treat.
Q: Can I come by myself?
A: Of course! More people than you think will be on your own and it will be a lovely, welcoming group! If you’re nervous to be on your own, just let one of the staff know and we will look after you!
Q: What if I need to stop and walk?
A: Then we will stop and walk with you! No girl gets left behind!
Q: What should I bring?
A: Just comfortable running clothes, trainers, and yourself! We will be suppling some fun light up goodies and panic alarms to help you feel safe!
Q: Why is this a girls run club?
A: Running at night can feel intimidating for some people. This club exists to create a space where women can run together, build confidence, and feel more comfortable being active outdoors after dark and Reclaim the Night!
Please note this event is for those that indentify as female only. ALL women are welcome!
