Physiotherapy Society Ball! 

Calling all Physiotherapy Students, the Physiotherapy Society is hosting a Formal Ball Event to celebrate the end of the academic year with you! We are excited to announce an off-campus event on MAY 31st, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. for students age 18+ to celebrate all you have achieved this year. If you enjoy food, drinks, dancing, and just having fun, this night is for you! So get dressed up and join us at Slug and Lettuce! 

We have reserved a private upstairs bar for our ticketed guests. There will be music, food, and drinks available to purchase (please bring ID), as well as a raffle to raise money for charity. 

Date and Time: SATURDAY 31 MAY 2025 - 19:00 to 00:00 (on 01/06/2025)

Location: Slug and Lettuce's private upstairs bar

Slug and Lettuce is located at 111 High St, Colchester CO1 1TB and is accessible by bus. You can take any bus that will bring you into Colchester town, such as the S1, S4, 87, etc. Please note that buses will not be running by the end of the event; however, taxis are easily accessible on High St, and apps such as Uber are a good option to share with friends. 

Dress Code: Formal 'black-tie' event, so dress to impress! 

Tickets: £22.00 for society members and £27.50 for non-members/plus ones

Please note that the venue capacity for the ball is 70 people, so purchase your ticket as soon as possible to avoid disappointment! 

Food and Drinks: Options for ALL! 

Food options are appetiser-type menu items including but not limited to sliders, cheesy nachos, halloumi fries and MORE! There will be VEGAN, VEG, and GLUTEN-FREE options available for anyone with dietary restrictions, and dessert options for those who may want a 'sweet treat' :) 

Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available. Please remember to bring your ID as this is an 18+ event, and IDs will likely be requested upon entry or at the bar. Please remember to drink responsibly and have a plan to get home after, as buses will not be running after midnight.
